Subscribers of FilePlanet can now play Pirates of the Burning Seas for the next month under a beta account for free. The people over at Sony are calling this an "Open Beta" but in actuallity you have to pay a monthly fee to FilePlanet to join. So this is good news for those who are willing to shell out the $6/month (depending on subbion plan) to play the game.
Though Flying Lab Studios has also given out Open Beta access keys to people that registered on their forums and applied to the Closed Beta. People that didn't get in then, did get their invitations now! So check your mail if you applied too!
It might be worthy of note that one does not require a paid subion at FilePlanet. The free versions also allow you to download the client and acquire a Beta Key. So get in there Landlubbers!
